About Southern Myanmar
Sothern Myanmar is a newly open tourist destination and still very much undiscovered by foreign tourists. The areas cover Mon State, Karen State, and Tanintharyi Division. Over the past 50 years, Southern Myanmar has been locked off to outside world; foreign travelers were restricted to flying in and out of Dawei, Myeik and Kawthaung.
