Dawei is a new tourist destination in south-eastern Myanmar and capital of Tanintharyi Region, formerly Tenasserim Division; about 100 miles far from Phunamron border in Kanchanaburi. This area has been closed for tourism until early 2013; it is largely undeveloped and unexplored and makes for a very authentic and rewarding experience. AfternoonVisit the clay pottery village where you will witness traditional village life and observe the skilled Myanmar people as they maintain the cultural tradition of handmade pottery, and then visit a weaving village where you will see how a Burmese Longyi (Sarong) is made on a traditional Burmese loom. Afterwards, visit the biggest reclining Buddha in Dawei, and view point of Sapar Taung to enjoy panoramic view over surrounding city area and the sunset.

- Day 2 Explore Dawei City & Sunset at Maungmagan Beach

We will start our morning tour, by visiting Ze Gyi market which is the biggest and the most colorful market of Dawei; buzzing with people selling vegetables, households’ products and variety of fresh fishes. On the way to the market, you will see many beautiful colonial style buildings with beautiful architecture. Continuously, we will visit the cashew nut factory where you will see how the local people produce cashew nuts and export them through local traders to China, India, and Thailand. Afterwards, visit Nabule beach one of Southern Myanmar’s pristine beaches located north of Dawei, and Mayengyi viewpoint; one of Dawei’s most famous viewpoints. It is time to relax yourself and take in views of Andaman Sea. We will then continue our trip to Maungmagan Beach one of the most well-known beaches in Southern Myanmar.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant at Maungmagan Beach. After lunch, we will check you in at hotel, and the rest of the day is your own leisure at the beach - enjoy the sea, sun and sand.
Dinner will be served at hotel.

After breakfast, we will visit the riverside bustling market where local people busy with daily-life, selling vegetables, household’s products and variety of fresh fish.
We take you back to Kanchanaburi by our V.I.P minivan or to bus station/airport if you would like to travel further to other destinations.
